I am a final-year PhD candidate in political science at the University of Essex. My research examines the determinants and outcomes of Chinese economic statecraft in the Global South, with a focus on authoritarian resilience and geopolitical influence.

Prior to academia, I worked as a lawyer specialising in infrastructure projects in the Global South, with hands-on experience in Latin America, Asia and Africa, based in Brazil, China and the United Kingdom.
